OCMA Members!!! New runway install on Saturday!!
Hi guys, if you are seeing this, you probably know already that OCMA (Orange County Modeler's Assn) has secured a new site. Grading is now complete, and we will be laying down the petro-mat on Saturday -- WE NEED HELP! Please plan on meeting at the field Saturday morning around 8am, BRING A HAMMER, preferably a heavy dead-blow style whacker. We have aproximately 3000 nails to put down.
It's gonna be hot.. OCMA will be providing water and other refreshments. Big props to the OCMA board for getting us too this point. We've been without a field since December, and soon we will be back in the air. If you have any memership questions, please feel free to post 'em here as well. Yep, me, Howie, and 2.6m-rod, will be landing at LAX 12.20pm, Friday 20 october, and taking young Max up on his kind offer of visiting!! Then driving up to Tucson on the Sunday!!
