Ha,ha. Just kidding. Got your attention though didn't it? Now that I do have your attention(and hopefully some manufacturers), who besides myself would love to see one of these hit the market? I'm excited to see that Aerotech has a 50cc version coming out soon. But I would love to see a 100cc powered version hit the market. I'm a little worn out on Extra's, Edge's, Yak's. Lets rally someone to produce one.
This is the scheme I would love to see. |

I'm down... I am leaning towards a BI plane... for something different.
Only thing I fear is field set up.... top and bottom wing incedence and flying wires... ARRRGHHHH (imagine a guy wrapped up and choking in small guage steel wire!)

Ya, round cowls rock. I"m also am tired of seeing all the same Giant Scale planes, Extra, Edge, yada yada yada. I'm just finishing up a 46% Giles G-200....kind of a rare bird in that size. Most are G-202's. I currently fly a H9 Suk and am also finishing up a 1/5 scale GeeBee R2. I was hoping to find a 40% or bigger Suk, but all of them are pticed right out of my market or are just so ugle and non-scale that I wouldn't own one. Most companies that have had them in the past have ceased production. I think I'm gonna be reduced to tweak my hucking skills on a 96" bird that flies on 50cc....but will 3D all day long. That's right, the OMP hybrid Edge. Killer performance and it's easier on the wallet that a 100cc bird. Just the way I like it.

There is a way to have one..
http://bigairplanes.com/ ARF.. well.. ok.. so not excatly... Flying wires.. I won't deal with them on anything.. Takes long enuff to toss the H9 Ulti together,, I'll be dang if I would want to deal with having to do wires also.. |

Robby, I know all about Bob's airplanes and boy are they nice. I just don't want to build any full on kit builds anymore. One reason I really love ARF's is that I don't have the time into the build that I would in a kit. It's much easier to push yourself when flying if all those man hours are hanging on your back while your flying. I really think an arf in this size would sell quite well, especially if it were done right, without flying wires and engineered in such a way that field assembly is a snap.
