Default Canadian Nat's 2006

Hello,

I wanted to throw out some congrads to Mike Milos winning Intermediate with his 42% Extra 300 mid wing. Also I believe Richard Biron was in the top 5 of Advance flying his 40% Yak54. The picture is Mike behind Ateek. I understand the event was awesome.

Take Care

John

OMG.... did he at least get the tail wheel fixed!?

Nice Job Mike...

BUT.. did you get the tail wheel hooked up?
At NALL it looked like you were drift racing on take off...

PS: I love that plane. Clean build, and color scheme rules.

Hey Question for you Canadian guys...
When you come to the states with a trailer full of planes...
Does the boarder give you any grief?
I have always wondered this.

Holy crap nice airplane oh yeah thats mine. Thanks John for posting the pic the contest was a great success with a total of I think 46 competitors. We had field issues but the crew holding the contest came through big time we went to another field and finished off the contest.

This airplane is a big part of coming in first place for intermediate it flies like it's on rails.

Thank you aerotech for the support

Mike

Hey Sleepy,

I haven't made it south of the border yet this season but when we do head down, they usually just ask to see what's in the trailer, ask a bunch of questions about the planes and what we're using them for. Depends really on who you get at the booth. We do have to stop at a customs office up here and claim the planes to be our own. There's a little yellow sticker that you put on it that shows you left Canada with it and aren't trying to bring back a new one.

Hope i can make the NC regional finals in Lansing MI, but that will depend on my better half letting me go?!?!?! We'll see

Yes, the Nats were quite eventful. From being grounded temporarily, to grounded permanently, to a new field for Sunday, and travelling the whole trip and rooming with GSXR, my head was spinning by the time Mikey dropped me off Sunday back in Trenton. Mikey did awsome and nabbed first in Int. I missed out on 1st in Sportsman by less than 12 points, and Advanced 1st and 2nd was decided by 12 points also. It was an awsome competition given the circumstances and that just goes to show you also that IMAC competitors can help make a contest what it is.

Next year should be bigger and hopefully it'll continue to grow. Be sure to clear your schedule next year for it and we'll hopefully see even more of you Americans up here for it.
