I've added several items to the site at rd-rc.org to help those who are coming to the event, and to help those planning & managing the event.

Firstly, there's a new pre-registration form, and it's free. This is only to help get a headcount for management. Please take a moment and fill this out for us.

Next, there is a growing list of hotels, sponsors, and event info. All of this is on the main page when you enter the site, immediately below the ticker. In the LH menu, you'll find quick links to download & view the fliers, and other info.

I know some people are already planning to show up earlier in the week and begin the fun, so don't hesitate to do so if you wish. You can also add comments and questions to the "comments" section of the pre-registration form, and we'll do our best to answer them and help out where we can!

Thanks, and we'll see y'all the week of Sept 23-24!

Hey, guys just got threw talking to Carden Aircraft and Right on Signs and both are going to donate stuff for the fly-in. If any one can attend a good fly-in this year this will be the one. Hey if there are any others who would like to donate to the cause send me or larry an email. We will take anything. Just remember that all the money is going to a good cause the club is not keeping a single penny of it. RD/RC has a good name for put on a good show, Just ask around and you will see.

see ya, josh

Hey Tweek,

PM me and we will see what we can do to help. I have always been a fan of helping the children. There are so many that do without and any little change we can make is like gold.

Later

John

Jongurley: Hey bud. Looking forward to your gang heading up this way. The raffle tickets will be $1.00 each, or 6 tickets for #5.00 on all the raffle items, EXCEPT the grand prize item. That will be a seperate raffle. $5.00 per ticket deal. But WELL worth it. We should be getting the tickets printed up soon. Just wanted to get the whole package ready before selling any tickets.

Propstriker: We'd LOVE ta have ya come up for the event. Good hike for you, but we'll make it worth the drive. Where in MS are you? The 1st club I ever joined was in MS back in 1987. The MCRC (MS Coast Radio Control) located just north of GulfPort. I was stationed there while in the US Navy SeaBees. GREAT bunch of guys to fly with. Miss those days a lot, and hope all my old flying buddies faired ok through Katrina. If you do come, I sure appreciate ya bring'n up a cooler of those Mississippi Catfish! lol Best catfish you'll ever sink yer teeth in to

Aerotech: Thanks a million for the offer buddy. We would be honored to have you participte at ANY level. You carry quality products, and we'd be thrilled to use them with our event. ALSO, please send any banners or product info for us to pass out to the masses Better yet, come on out and set up a display!!!

More to come......................

Larry, I cant beleive you insulted that airplane by calling it and arf, and that is real bad if it was a carden. Thats like call your truck a ford or something, And I thought you new airplanes. LOL

see ya, josh

Larry, you gonna haveta make yerself available for some liquid embellishments Friday evening. Kents gonna come down to stretch the truth about that "ARF" but he don't partake in the fruit of the grain so I'm gonna be lookin' fer some support. I'm gonna bring my son down too I hope & you have got to see this little Hucker bang the sticks! He's an arrogant little squirt tho', don't wanna fly unless there's a peanut gallery to show off for!

How old is your son? Because I'm twelve and we could get together and fly foamies, or we could get a youth huckfest going. Well hope to see you there.
