It looks like a bunch of people are arriving Friday and even some on Thursday. The filed prep crew will be out there both days doing last minute jobs and there will be plenty of flying!

As far as directions are concerned, the signs probably won't be up Thursday but just follow the directions on the event flyer. It's only a couple of easy turns off of Hwy 401 N.

FYI - for anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to fly a Vess Prop or wants to see what works in their applcation, we will be offering the "Fly Before You Buy" promotion at this event. So, it's a great chance to try one with no obligation. You may even win one of the ones offered in the raffle prizes. BUY TICKETS!

Robert, you need to have a couple of those props of yours drilled for BME engines this time! I have a 100 in my party plane & a 115 coming to replace it! The 115 will take either a DA or a 3W drilled prop but the 100 needs the center hole punched out to 7/16ths.

John,

Actually, they're rolling into town as we speak (10 am Thurs). Jerry L. Smith just called and is about 30 min. away. Jeff Holsinger and Charlie Lasley will be in early tomorrow morning. And several people are calling and saying they're on their way tomorrow, too.

So adjust your countdown clock accordingly.........Big huckin' in Raleigh
....beginning....now!

We had a beautiful day at the field today and all the prep work is now done.....what a great place to fly!

People are rolling in and campers are setting up shop. And we got to do a bit of flying, too! Jerry Smith gave a taste of what he has in store for the weekend with his "Spoiler", Outlaw, and awesome fun-fly plane. You're all in for a treat for sure!

We'll begin posting pics soon.........

Oh,,we forgot to mention.
There WILL be some torque roll'n on the deck, we WILL be let'n folks cut it loose. there WILL be some kick'n foamy action into the night, and we HIGHLY expect folks to be having a GREAT time on AND OFF the flight line. This is a public air show, so we want give'm a show they wont forget! Folks started rolling in today, and the tents are pop'n up as we speak. Plenty of parking, plenty of food, and PLENTY of sky! This is going to be a great show folks. Still time for ya to fill the gas tank and head on over to North Cackalacky. We're expecting well over a 100 pilots, and a really big public turn out. The weather forecast is awesome.
Jerry L Smith did a lil OUTLAW demo today for the folks who havent seen him fly. Many jaws were on the ground! It's gonna be wild when we get 6 Out Laws at once in the air.
