Default Check your carb bolts/BME Edge Fuse needed

Hi All,
Anyone have a good used or dinged up 30% BME Edge fuselage lying around? I was deadstick and I stalled it in from 15 feet up into some tall weeds and it tore it up pretty good. Prety much destroyed it from the LG to the turtledeck, this thing would float unbelievable, but I was slow and turning and ran out of airspeed/elevator. I would buy a new Fuse, but the airplane had many flights on it and the rest is a little beat. Also, check your fuel filters, I found mine about 75% blocked. The engine had run flawless (DA50) up untill yesterday morning, then it would try to quit on up-lines, so I landed and too get it to run I had to richen it up. I flew it again and about 15 mins into the flight it quit on a long up-line. Up until then I had been practicing harrier's and the engine ran fine. I got home and stripped the Edge, and put the engine in a H9 27% 260 I was outfitting for my brother. I found the fuel filter blocked and the carb bolts loose. I just ran it and it runs back at the original settings like a top. Best running 50cc gas engine I have ever had. Sure wish I would have checked the bolts when it started acting up!! Well, know I have an excuse to get the 35% Edge I bought from Eric in the air.

Dom: I just replaced my 90 degree carb adapter on my G38 powered Pitts. The adapter is made of Phenolic resin and has cheap thread inserts in it. Both thread inserts pulled loose and, luckily, I noticed it on a routine inspection. As soon as I get the new adapter, I will install premium thread inserts and use some blue loctite. Sorry to hear about your plane and good luck finding a spare fuse.
