Hi all,
i made an animated GIF of a lame drawing i made with flash, how do i make it move as my avatar? i uploaded it as a gif, but it doesn't move. is there a certain format it needs to be? Thanks |

I just recently made my avatar. I uploaded it as GIF and it worked. I don't know whats wrong. If it works on your computer when you bring it up it should work on here.

Did you re-size it? Sometimes when you re-size the animated gifs to fit into an avatar, it only resizes one frame, and it no longer moves.

it's the same as when i exported it from Flash, like 550 by 400.
at first i uploaded it from my computer, now i have it URL'ed from my webspace, still nothin |

Muddy, it's not an animated gif, it's just a gif.... And you're trying to resize it. Our limit on avatar size is 140x140, export it at that size. You're doing something wrong... even in the pic above, it's not animated. I don't know flash, but there are a ton of free animated gif utils out there. looks pretty cool! Get that thing goin!
