Yes, the wings on the Dalton are sheeted foam while the RBM are built up (fully sheeted though). My RBM wings are extremely light. They are under 2 lbs each with servos. As a comparison, the foam sheeted wings on my Aeroworks 35% Edge are 3 lbs each. They also seem very strong although I have not yet flown them.

Another guy was building a few of these planes recently. Do a search under Mockingbird Aviation. Mike East did a thread on his plane over on DOD. His came out at 23 lbs with BME 110. The wing construction on Mockingbirds are blue foam ribs built up and fully sheeted.

Based on my initial weighing and factoring in the equipment, it should make it under 23 lbs.

This plane comes jig built so really all I am doing is the covering, paint and equipment install. I hope to have it ready to go around Sept 1.....looking forward to it!
You might be doing only the covering , but your doing a heck of a nice job

Running just one 5955 on the rudder. The plane is only 24 lbs. It seems to have plenty of authority in knife edge.
