Gremlin,

That 82 is a sweet choice, a little lighter than the 72 and 10% more power.

Mr Swanson,

Glad to have you aboard! There's a ton of stuff here to see, enjoy your visit.

BTW: Can you give Billy and the buildin' boys a nudge to get my ARF done? I need this plane to force me to shift my CG 330 to back burner status!!!

I have the 40 size Mojo with a Saito 72 and the 60 size with a Saito 91. These are by far the best planes that I have ever flown, BAR NONE! I've flown anywhere from 1/2A to giant scale, and I've enjoyed my Mojo's the most. First put an engine on there that you can trust. If it still flies bad to you, then it must be your set up. There is no way that you can compare a Mojo to a Twist! Get things right and THEN tell us what you think about it. If you still don't like it, I can guarantee that somewhere either here or on the Pro Bro site will buy it from you. A TWIST?!?!?!?!?!?! Sheeeesh!

Sometimes the truth hurts and the only thing I can say is a person that thinks a mojo flys the same as a twist lacks only 1 thing wrong with his setup... skillz

I can honestly say that it flys the same as the pathetic Twist as of right now yes. I speak my mind guys, I dont sugar coat or beat around the bush. If it upsets you, then dont read my post then. I am going to rip that StupidTigre .51 off and throw on a Saito 72 or 82, not sure yet. You are right, its hard to tune anything until you get it running right. It required way to much back trim, so it is for sure nose heavy. Everything is square and built straight. It does snap out of I pull too much backstick. Only on extreme rates.

No need to worry, The 82 weighs less than the ST 51. and the response is way better. Mine came in at 4lb 1 oz with an OS .46 so you should be somewhere around 4lb 5oz which is right where you want to be.
Mine is a little too light now, but in a few repairs it will be good to go
BTW my other mojo weighs 3lb 14 oz with a webra .40....... talk about a floater.

I flew a MOJO and LOVED IT!!!! It's a great little airplane and lets you get away with murder without making you feel like you are going to stove into the ground! I need a 60 size one soon so I can terrorize the old farts at the club!

Horizon shows 16.8 oz for the 72 which is the same weight as the 82. I don't know if that is with muffler or not, The muffler on the Saito weigh's practicly nothing.
Tower shows 18.4 oz for the ST 51 with muffler.
It will fly great with the Saito.

Even better, Let the old farts fly it and they will want one too. We are slowly converting the old farts at our field into 3-d ers

Im running a YS .63 on mine. SILLY power and runs like a clock.

The saito .82 is comparable powerwise to the .63. you should enjoy it.

Mojo = Twist

1.) Stick a Saito 72 or 82 on your Mojo and break it in right... IMHO, the 72 is perfect...

2.) Make sure you've got 140 percent ATV on the throttle for finer resolution...

3.) Make sure your CG is neutral, around 4 1/2" - 4 5/8" back from the LE at the fuse...

4.) Put about 2 gallons through it flying HA...

If you're flying the Mojo on the wing and at speed, it can be a handful as it's highly maneuverable... Put some expo in it on high rates...

The Mojo shines when flying in a stalled condition... It takes awhile to get used to it after flying other airplanes, even other profiles... Once you can drive it around in a harrier, you're almost there...

Buena Suerte...

Yeah, I was just not comfy bringing it down and dirty because of the 100% dead stick ratio! I will be able to stall it around with a Saito I am sure of. I already ordered one
