Thanks Chris!

Yes, that is a scratch built (all of them were), however I sold about 6-7 dozen short kits of it. Billy Hell RC will be selling a full kit very shortly (I've already laid my hands on the first production 'proof' parts )

Its a simple build and 3D's its arse off! The comment I get most often is that it flies more like a larger airplane than a Funfly/Profile.

Here's my vid entry in the old Cirkus contest...

Yes you are right.
The price is too high, but you can't imagine the things that this bird can do,and with so easy fingers!!!
The Hokusai birds are Semi automatic when it comes to 3D,even a beginner in 3D can do extra ordinery things.
Try one you wont dissapoint.
Thanks Adi

I'm gonna order a short kit for one of Matchlessaero's Yak 55 tommorrow morning! I'll have to wait 'til the tax man comes to finish it though. Thank goodness we're getting our W2's next Wednesday!

Hey thanks for the info, before I get in over my head, whats the differance between a short kit and full kit? As you can tell I've never built anything so this would be a first. I think a profile would be a good introduction but again I don't want to get in over my head.

Thanks Alot,

Chris

If you've never built anything, then you don't want a short kit... www.billyhellrc.com will soon have full kits of the Chinn Yak...

If you've never flown a profile, you might want to consider a Burrito instead of a Chinn Yak as your first slab... You can get full kits for the Burrito from www.swanyshouse.com... It's not that I don't think you can't handle it, but I think you'll enjoy the Burrito as your first profile more than the Chinn Yak...

Thanks Alot Torqued, I guess I'll wait for the full kit. I've have a few profiles, my first being the Extreme Flight Edge, which I learned 3D on, and now am flying a Accel Katana for a throw around plane. I really like the look of this yak so I think I'll hold off and go for the full kit when there released. Anyone have any ideas on when this may happen?

Thanks Alot,

Chris
