We are pretty close. Jeremy is fine tuning the prototype and when he says it meets his approval I will have the first batch cut and ready to go.

Is there any plan to ARF the Chinn Yak?

I'm crossing my fingers that your story is in 3D Flyer this month. By the way they acted I'm betting it will be. It should be out any day now.

Well I was flying my Goldberg 330 yesterday and went to idle on my landing approach, the motor just quit. After a hard landing, couldn't make the landing area in my backyard, I checked the motor. I was getting a kind of a clunk when turning the motor past the compression stroke. I figure a bearing took a dump, so I put it away for the night.

When I got home from work today, I decided to pull the motor and replace it with an old one I had on the shelf, another 50sx that had a broken carb. I removed the carb from the original and put it on the old engine, mounting the whole thing on the plane. I fired the motor up with 2 flips of the hand, it just idled on the bench, no sweat. I took it to the backyard and tweaked the needle, running good. I took off right to a hover and then proceeded to do some slammin' around the sky. This motor sounded so smooth and quiet, I didn't want to land. The power was so much better than the original motor I know there must have been something wrong with it right from the beginning.

I'll be sending the broken motor back this week, and flying the 330 every night, in my backyard. I will try to shoot some more video, and if you watch both my videos, you will definately hear a major difference in the motors, I am a very happy camper

Here is me last year with my Kat 70. Don't have the plane, or the Saito .91 anymore. Wish I would not have sold that motor.....
