Hi, posting what looks like a private mail with someone's email address in an open thread isn't the done thing.

I would write to you, but i will not if you are going to do the same thing to me.

You may want to check the following from the AMA website, which details suggestions for a field layout. http://www.modelaircraft.org/files/706.pdf

You are correct exeter - 1.6 miles x 1 mile is 1024 acres. Not sure why all this isn't adding up, but if he can pull this off, it would be a good place to go fly. Weather in Florida is generally pretty good, so if he builds it - they will come.

Will air and, ground transmitters conflict with one another? (all need to be 2.4 Ghz of course)

I'm sorry to inform you of this, but I have already spent 1.65 million dollars on this very same concept.
We have finalized the blueprints for a RC Super Park right here in Texas. In fact we will be breaking ground in just a few short days. You Sir are well behind the eight ball on this endevor.

Below you will find the finalized plans that my highly paid engineers have completed for me.

pfoil... I see a flaw in your plan, obviously an oversight by improperly skilled outsourced project planning... I want to help you save your $1.65M investment. For just $500K more, I can fix it and you can deliver the dream that you've promised to r/c entheusiasts in your area.... small, unmarked unserialzed bills in a plane brown bag, please.

Sorry, Vincidileonardo, I can't read your plans through the apaprent doody stains on the paper... you're on your own!

Why would you need to have won compititions to be able to a apply?
Most of the guys you would want working for you were too busy setting up events to fly....or compete...
Like race car drivers... they don't know much about setting up races... they just show up...ready to drive
the car, expecting all of the hard things to be done for them...

You would end up having 6-guys walking around saying..."when will this even be setup so I can race?"

Looks like you are planning on using the whole 1000 acres from your drawing and that airfield will support full size aircraft.
