I'm wondering if it is possible to make an endeavor like this financially viable. Pay to fly? When is the last time you went to a club meeting and listened to the uproar over raising club dues $5 a year. In my area, $75 a year to fly your $7500 airplane is considered an outrageous fee. What does your business plan call for as a fee to fly?

Best thing you can do if this is legit is contact the AMA and ask them for advice and information that will aid you in making something like this happen. I think it's very important that something like this be done so it can fall within the rules and saftey standards set by the AMA. They have good programs to assist in these kinds of things.

This is like the best post I have ever read. Vincid--- I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor to set up RC nirvana, I think it is a great idea, not to mention what you are doing is a monumental task.
However, the combination of BR289's excessive pleas to snake hunt, and the request for soft drink advise has caused me to loose my beer all over the monitor. My gut still hurts from laughter. My family slightly freaked out because they thought I was having a heart attack or something in the other room, but it was just me laughing. Any way great posts! Good luck, I think it is a great Idea if you can pull it off. KC |

 If this is a legit project (and I hope to God it is) it sounds amazing... but the others are right, there is a LOT of planning to do to make sure things work smoothly and the different areas keep from interfering with one another. I'm actually planning something similar, but on a smaller scale and private with a select few friends able to use it. Good luck!
