The land is at the limits of sarasota county and manatee county , to do this we had to put 8 piece of land toghether and the flying side of the project is at the limits
We got permits from both county just in case
Also if you drove by the land I'm surprise that u didnt see the huge machinery that's on the land
The land is in part sarasota part miakkacity

I was talking about pictures from the ground of the land as it is. It would be nice to see the construction of the place as it is being built.

Since it will be the world's best R/C facility I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing it come together. Maybe once people see what is happening some more will jump on board with the project.

Looks very impressive! Construction must have been started some time ago if you have come that far already. How large is the runway that is currently installed?

I am wondering if you have considered changed to 2 north/south runways? We have a field in Lawrence Kansas with 2 N/S runways and a E/W runway plus running parallel to the E/W runway is a moat for float flying. The advantages of this is with the pits in the middle you can fly regardless of the time of day and never be facing the sun. In the mornings you can fly off of the west N/S runway and have the sun at your back and then in the afternoon fly off of the east N/S runway and again have the sun at your back. There may be times when you could use both flight lines at once. I have yet to find a better set-up than this field. You can look at it on Goggle Earth. Here's the coordinates: 38 54.5719 N, 95 19.516 W It's on the southeast side of the Clinton Lake Dam.

Didn't they use to have something similiar to this concept near Orlando called R/C World?

The West runway is paved and the East runway is grass. Look close - you'll see them both.
