Default Balsa USA 1/4 scale J3 Cub winter build
Well was given a Balsa USA 1/4 scale J3 Cub wing kit from my friend, So i have decided to Build me a 1/4 scale, Had to order the pre cut fuselage parts from Balsa USA, They didn't have all of them so i have to make some parts myself. so for i have made the fuselage sides, took 2 pieces of 1/4" x 4" x 24" balsa sheets and CA'ed them together to give me a 1/4" x 8" x 24" piece, I then traced the fuselage sides on paper and transferred to the balsa sheet. and cut out on my scroll saw. see pics below.

well i made a couple more fuse parts the horizontal stab mounts. made from 1/8 Balsa sheet.

I just ordered this kit and was wondering if you are doing a 3 piece wing with the center piece permanently connected to the fuselage. Does the kit's plan call for this, or do you have to make a modification.

It builds as a 2 piece wing with center section on fuselage by the plans. NO MODS at all

I ordered my motor a few days ago, it is the RCG 26cc from Hobby King, coming from the USA warehouse, should be here on the 19th
