Thank you Byron ..
It's a slow process, but coming along. I'd guess we're 80% done now.. |

I've not seen any with E-Power. But I'm sure it could easily be done... All the ones I've seen have either the 30,50,55 or 60cc gas engines on them.. I have another idea, how bought a small turbine, now THAT would be cool!
Or, a turbo-prop? When I hit the lottery, I may do that. :-) |

That's what I've heard. I've seen a few at different fields, but never flown one..

Hiya Guys...
Yep, it's been a few weeks since I've updated the thread. But, all is not lost, I HAVE BEEN WORKING A LITTLE. First, the bad news. Looks like we will not be making it to Nall this year. For several reasons, I just can't make it work. Some were seen, some unforseen. Sorry, we'll miss seeing you guys. There are sooo many folks I've been interacting with here on the web that I feel like are age-old friends, but I've never actually seen them! What a shame... Maybe some day huh. Oh well, about the profile.. Brian & I have been working some over the past few days, I just today finished up the cap stripping and the boxing in of the last aileron servo. What's left is this. Adding a few pieces of 1/64" ply to strengthen a few delicate areas, and some finish sanding. Next, it's on to some actual covering, Hooray!!! After that, and you guys know the drill, installing the firewall, engine, switches, tank and whatever else I've forgotten to list. Long story short, we're very close to wrapping it up. Since seeing Bam breeze through his, I'm feeling kinda bad here.. But, never fear, It will fly! (Just not sure when) :-) |

The next one will probably be built by someone else. I'd like to fly it before Social Security age....
