I need some help in finding a muffler for the OS 120 AX, the stock muffler does not fit inside the cowl,
if anyone has found a muffler that would fit, your comments would be appreciated. Thx

Dcoy, the stock muffler does fit inside the cowl. It comes with a way to turn it sideways.

Slimline does not make one for the AX 120, and the stock does not fit. If anyone has pictures of it, I would love to 2 c it. I have tried to test fit, and there is no way without cutting a huge hole on the cowl.

The hole would be the size of the entire muffler sideways accross the cowl (Left to Right) . Basically half the muffler is sticking out from the cowl. There has got to be a better way to do this, It would look hurrendous.

I guess I'll wait for the pitts to come out, do you guys know if it will take away any power from the os 120 AX? And since we are on the topic, what prop with that plane and engine do you guys recommend?

I am just now in the process of mounting a OS 120 AX on my Funtana 90 and can't imagine why you cant get your muffler to fit inside the cowl. Is your motor mounted 90 degrees as mine is? Mine fits perfect in the pitts configuration using the powerbox mufffler that came with the engine. Just need to cut the bottom of the cowl and that is all.
