Yup, Woody/Rzrback is right. I picked it up from Terry. He built it as a demo airplane and ended up letting Chip borrow it for the 02 XFC.

Isn't that the truth!

Got a little more done this evening. Got the base color on the wing. Just needs stripes and checkers on the bottom. Still need to cover the aileron...

The red I got is a couple shades darker than the original. Terry gave me the color name when I bought it, so I matched the part numbers from the previous and new monokote. I guess the old is faded a bit... It does not show so bad in bright light, so I won't worry about it....

Thanks ya'll!

I spent some time last night covering the aileron that needed to be covered. I think the batch of white monokote I got is a bit different than the last lot of it I picked up (been using Ultracote lite lately on small projects). The red shrinks tight with no fuss, but the white is pretty tough to shrink.. Ended up turning my iron up 4 notches as my heat gun would not get hot enough...

I also got my aileron servos yesterday. They dropped right into the pockets I had cut and fit perfectly on the rails. I bought them lightly used from a buddy who is changing out servo brands and they came with a bonus - Aluminum output arms! May sound silly, but that is another $6-$9 a servo I won't have to spend...

Time to cut some squares and some stripes....
