Default USRA Giant Scale race "THE VIDEO!"
Hey guys...

Well here it is... a look into the world of Giant scale racing.

The weather was GRAY but I did the best I could.

Also, ever try to film a plane flying at 200 mph with a dark gray sky for a background??
MAN...

Also, I have 2 - 3 more pilot interviews I'll post tomorrow!

Very cool stuff Sleepy. That has got to be one hell of a crowd pleaser. I can imagine that you don't want to zoom in to much on those things during filming, if you lost it while zoomed in, it would be almost impossible to find it again. Very Very impressive.

What sucks is.. I had a great camera, (Canon GL-2) and someone wanted it a bit more than I did, and it was stolen (FROM a FLYIN!!!). If I would have had that camera the footage would have been AMAZING. But the little Panasonic is still a 3CCD camera and takes clean video, only problem ....I have no sweet leneses for the little guy.

But I think for the grayness of the sky... it turned out pretty good!

Oh well... Max and gang can catch the last leg of the race and get some sunny footage!!

Sleepy,

It was great hangin' with you up in your part of the country. You did FG proud. And the video is great with cool editing. I'm amazed that you could follow the planes while looking through a camera. Sometimes the pylon judges can't even do that with wide open eyes!

Now that I'm back in NC, I'm going to upload my pics and some descriptions right away.

Biff any chance we can incorporate a MINI Nemesis pylon race into the ETOC /exgames??!!
Like a after event??

Guys, the Nemesis is fast enough with the stock motor to make some good racing. Larry Lewis has been cracking us up with his...it's so small that it looks real fast and makes you laugh....let's race 'em! Also, we have the Air Hog bipes with us wherever we go.....it's too bad there are only three frequencies for those things!

get a fisheye, it makes flying videos so sweet

I had several different lenses for my Canon.
But after it was stolen.. I just don't have the money to put back into a great camera.
