Not likely........i dont need 18 channels, like most. 12 works just fine with spares. Whats the point of having 18 channels if the programming is the same as the 8ch. maybe im wrong, but ive flown someone else's spectrum and the programming seemed kinda simpleton to me. just my 2 cents.

I dont need 18 either but someone will jump on them cause its the newest out. And their not to old radio will be up for grabs. I will upgrade then.

If you can find a 12X for a reasonable price, get it........Its way sturdier than the 11 and the feel is pretty standard. I LOVE mine. very nice radio

I believe you might want to have another more comprehensive look at the advertisement. I think you will find that the DX-18 is by far the more capable & safer Radio over the 11X or 12X.

I'm a Futaba guy but isn't the JR12X a true 12 channel (proportional channels) and the DX18 is a 10 channel + 8 on/off?

It says 18 Channels and with X-Plus 8 more?

looks like it comes with a 20 Channel Rx too? The AR-9020

My X9503 works fine for me with matchboxes. Take out matchboxes will buy the 12X

Need to check out the other DX18 thread. It has 10 proportional channels 8 on/off channels using the X-plus. It comes with a 9ch rx
