I watched the gas videos, I think the two best ones are from 3Dkid (this kid knows how to huck
) and DocInsane. I think 3Dkid's video has more maneures etc. but the one by DocInsane is better directed and has the most difficult maneure in 3D I think, the torque roll circle.Donatas I watched your videos too, you're unbelievable!! Where is your CG on the Showtime?Good luck to everyone!! Nick |

Thanks Nick

Hey Doc---your video was extreme! I do not have any expertise at flying, but I do know quality when I see it. Gave you a 10.0 along with 3DKid in the contest. You are an enormous talent---Thank you for sharing it all of us!

Thanks a lot for the comments, I appreciate every one of them! Doc definitely has some talent going for him there with flying and editing! (Agree with Doc, you never really know what your fellow competitors are going to come up with )Thanks! Brandon |

3DKid I see you are 14, how long have you been flying for?? Do you have a Greek origin? Your surname seems to be Greek. I'm also a bit biased with you as you fly the QQ Yak 54 100cc
. I have been prepairing the 50cc one with a DA 50, does it fly similarly with the 100cc really? Any opinions here?Doc (Martin) have you built that extra or it is ARF? I read in your web site that is designed in Holand, where can someone get it from? Can you please give some details on your setup etc.? Regards to everyone, Nick

hi,
I have the same plane in my vid... it's as he said the aerobatic models extra build in holland ... It's not a factory but a familly that makes the planes... You can buy them straight from them in ARC or kit version... about the setup my set up: 3W 80 8* jr8425 digital servo's emcotec system emcotec longoo bat doc's set up zdz 80 hitec and JR digital servo's smart fly power expander and regulator li-ion battery's specs of the plane: engine 60-100cc 2.6m span 10,5-10.8kg

That's right. It's a hand made plane from Holland. I'm afraid they won't ship to the US though
It's a three men's company really. They can make about two planes a month or so... Just guessing. You can find somem more info on my website on the left, you have a link " Aerobatic Models". This is an all wooden plane, made for 3D and IMAC. I like it a lot for 3D. For Imac it needs a little more weight. A heavier wingtube for IMAC could be a solution, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm going to try it out next season, because winter is coming up here.

My Dad and I have been flying for about 5 years total, the first year we were flying parkflyers, then we went to the local flying club where we started flying nitro and just recently gas powered(within the last year). ![]() The 100cc Yak flys awesome, since all the sizes from Quique are mostly the same design, I think that it should fly pretty similarly(from videos I have seen, it looks like it does), so I think you will have a great plane. I don't have direct experience with flying both of them, so hopefully someone that has flown both will come in and give an opinion. (I'm sure there might be small differences, but they should be fairly similar)My Dad's father(my Grandfather) Is from the island of Crete, but both my Dad and I were born in the USA; My Mom was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America, and her family is of Spanish and French descent. ![]() Glad you enjoyed the video Nick!
