the full scale one looks ugly only because there is no paint job. Picture the full scale Katana with a paint job like krills (jason nolls) or like the futana 90

that would look awsome

yup in summer the heat is bad always 100+ - so we look ugly for a few months but must fly - we run moki180's so they get a little hot - the guys using 24cc gas are ok but dont have proper 3d power - give and take!!

I would think that cowl on and proper ducting is more efficient cooling than cowl off. With a small single cylinder glow it may be hard to make that proper ducting though.

Sleepy,,you might of just stepped on your pride there son! Anna, if you see this I was only talking about the full scale being aesthetically challenged! I think Len did a fabulous job on the model.It's beauty always captivates. A super duper airplane, can't believe there was only one.

I like my Katana a lot.
I does not snap quite as well as a Extra , but requires very little
mixing and has no bad tendencies in all 3D maneuvers.
