Default Xtreme Power Systems (XPS) Help Make History!

Here at FG we love to see people from the RC world do cool things in the "real world". Today I was sent a link to the following story. Our good buddy Jim Drew from Xtreme Power Systems (XPS) apparently was busy of late.

The following news was released on his site just a few days ago:

Congratulations to James Cameron!

Today, James Cameron was the first man in history to complete a solo dive to the Mariana Trench. Jim Drew, CEO of XPS, spent time with James Cameron last week going over the electronic 'flight' control system that XPS developed for the expedition's ROV. XPS has been under contract for the last 10 months, working with Mike Cameron (James' brother) who developed all of the ROVs used by James Cameron for exploration of the Titanic and Bismarck. During this time, virtually all progress on our future products was halted so that we could be part of this historic event.

I have to say that news is really cool! Again, I love when us "RC'ers" do something cool in the world outside our little bubble. And in this case, Jim and XPS idd something cool WITH a bubble in a whole underwater world!

So congrats Jim and XPS! Everyone here at FG is really looking forward to see what you will be doing in 2012!!

They should also use a couple of XPS Dynamax fans to dive even faster! If the can propel a starfire jet to 224 MPH....

You might want to Google "James Cameron" to get a better picture of this controversial man.

this would be an amazing project to work on... but outside of that, what's coming in 2012 from XPS for the RC community will be nothing short of epic...
