Hey Jaybirb, I have a lot of time on 80 cc planes and I will tell you the Wild Hare 260 is the absolute best bang for your dollar, we have many in our club and they will all say the same thing! Light, great power, well built and a great company behind it!

Edit, Just looked at the PP 34% Extra, the price is right, but hows the quality and what are they covered with?
I have the CHP 34% Extra- same as the PP 34%- I have a 3W 80CS in it and you would be hard pressed to find a better combo for 3D or precision in this size IMO- the covering IS chinacote and a pain in the rear, but I just make a point of spending a little time here and there with the iron keeping things tight. I havent lost any colors or panels, but have heard of this happening to guys in mid flight- I just make sure to look things over before I go up and use the iron when necessary. Great flying airplane though- makes me look like a better pilot than I really am !!!

That is a pretty sweet deal, and I have been wanting to go li-ion. If some of these others dont work out I may try that.

Chinakote. The construction is very good, especially concidering the price. The landing gear is an absolute TANK, though! Get a set of Columbo Anderson gear from Graphtech and you will save 16-18 ounces right there!

Diablo, the 80 is the perfect motor for the H9 Arfs, the throttle and choke are a little challenging, and avoid using the chief mount and just get some standoffs. Plenty of power for anything you want to do.
<-----------
Bodyworks, Why, why do they even use chinacote? A shame for such a nice plane to be covered in that mess. I mean just charge another 100$ and do it in Mono or Ultracote.

I think the 2.6 M Comp ARF Extra would be a little heavy for 80cc needs 100cc really. Can recommend the 2.3m Comp Arf extra. Fantasic performance with a ZDZ 80!!!
