2012 Joe Nall Starts Today!
Holy cow! JOE NALL starts TODAY!
Right this very moment, there are tons of people arriving, driving to, or getting ready to leave for the greatest RC Fly-in on earth! From members' early reports there is already a line of RV's waiting for the 5pm gate opening! It's officially on people! I am excited! OK...quick rundown of things to remember. 1) The 3D line is great, but make sure you get to the main flight line for a spell, take your shoes off and wiggle your toes in the plush grass. This is a MUST DO. It will give you some appreciation of what the earlier Joe Nalls were like! 2) Treat the Triple Tree Aerodrome property like it is your own yard, actually treat it better than your yard. Don't litter, if you smoke (YUCK, please quit!) do not throw your butts on the ground. Be respectful to the volunteers, and please use your head! 3) Make sure you are down on the 3D line on Wednesday for a special FG tradition....  4) Make sure you wear your FG shirts everyday so you have a chance to win the PAU 100cc Ultimate! 5) Make sure to bring everything you need. Toes in the grass is most certianly a must do. Last year (my first) I ended up walking around barefoot and it feels like a soft carpet.

No, but you should check out the new beach! It is at the river by the 3D line. Instead of taking that hard right before you get to the 3D line, go straight and youll see the beach.
