Default 2012 Joe Nall Starts Today!

Holy cow! JOE NALL starts TODAY!
Right this very moment, there are tons of people arriving, driving to, or getting ready to leave for the greatest RC Fly-in on earth! From members' early reports there is already a line of RV's waiting for the 5pm gate opening!

It's officially on people! I am excited!

OK...quick rundown of things to remember.

1) The 3D line is great, but make sure you get to the main flight line for a spell, take your shoes off and wiggle your toes in the plush grass. This is a MUST DO. It will give you some appreciation of what the earlier Joe Nalls were like!

2) Treat the Triple Tree Aerodrome property like it is your own yard, actually treat it better than your yard. Don't litter, if you smoke (YUCK, please quit!) do not throw your butts on the ground. Be respectful to the volunteers, and please use your head!

3) Make sure you are down on the 3D line on Wednesday for a special FG tradition....

4) Make sure you wear your FG shirts everyday so you have a chance to win the PAU 100cc Ultimate!

5) Make sure to bring everything you need. If you're packing now check out our Joe Nall Survival Guide!

6) Get ready to have a great time! We will see you there!!!

IT'S JOE NALL TIME BABY!!

Also, if you have a phone, a camera a video device and you would like to upload some coverage please jump over to the 2012 Joe Nall Member Coverage Thread! And upload away!

Flyinggiants.com would like to thank PAU for being the title sponsor of our 2012 Joe Nall coverage. This sponsorship helped us do some cool things this year! If you are looking for a new air frame, please check out the beautiful planes PAU offers. If you are attending Joe Nall, stop down at the 3D flight line, Herve and the gang will have some new planes to check out! www.flypau.com

Toes in the grass is most certianly a must do. Last year (my first) I ended up walking around barefoot and it feels like a soft carpet.

Yep. Ultimate hippie moment. I love being barefoot. Note to self - walk around barefoot at the Nall on the main line.

Reminds me of the scene in Caddyshack, Its a cross between Kentucky blue grass and Northern California Sensomilla,
Some of you may get it?? The hippies anyway.

No, but you should check out the new beach! It is at the river by the 3D line. Instead of taking that hard right before you get to the 3D line, go straight and youll see the beach.
