2012 Joe Nall: Thursday The Germans Are Here!
Wow! What a day so far, and it's only half over! We have been out on the field since 9am taking pictures and shooting video snippets trying to bring you guys the essence of THE NALL.
Today was off the hook! Starting with an early morning fly over by Skip Stewart in his bi-plane that was quickly followed by insane 3D action on the 3D line, and some amazing scale flights up on the main flight line. The German vector thrust Jet tag team came back to Joe Nall this year with some new jet powered huge gliders that were aerobatic, thrust vectoring and insane! They also brought a friend who flew the huge 3W Pitts Model 12 that had a 3W 220 on can's in it and was almost electric quiet! That was really impressive to say the least! The noon demos were a blast and the Governor of The Nall himself Mr. Bob Sadler kept the crowd in stitches the entire show (Even if some of it was at my expense!) That aircoupe with the I beleive PQ-13 scheme is freaking beautiful, did that scheme on a small version some yrs back and loved it

Nice job on the pics. From an outside point of view, this event looks like its operating very efficiently. Looks like there is so much room. What a cool place. What cool people. The flying machines dont look to shabby either. Thank you to all for your contributions.
