H9 33% Edge

I got one with a da85 on it. It also has a ks95 canister. Had to rebuild to motor box to hang the da85 on it. Plane flys great although it was tough to balance with such a light motor up front.

Still flying one with a ZDZ-100NG on the nose, fantastic performer. The Edge was the lightest of all the H9 33% models and that is probably what accounts for at least some of it's flight characteristics.

We have to go with bigger engines up here at 4500' ASL to get decent performance from the engine, so it's not uncommon to see something like the DA-100 hanging on the front of an H9 33% model. I've a friend who uses a ZDZ-80RV on the Sukhoi and it does okay but it's really pretty marginal for any 3D work. Have another friend who put the ZDZ-80RV-J (the Super) on one of the 33% Edges with a full length pipe and some airframe lightening, it was unbelievable.

If you wanna play 3D, I'd suggest more power up front....
