Default Wizard's AM 30% Yak Maiden

Well I Got It finished and went out for the maiden today. It was a cool, overcast day. There was a light wind right down the runway. The DA fired up like it was supposed to, choke - 4 flips, pop, choke off, 3 flips and running. The Vess was pulling like a team of mules. Taxied out, at about 1/2 throttle she rose from the ground, went to full throttle 45 degree climb out. A couple of clicks of up trim and one click right trim and it was flying hands off. The flight was great nice roll rate on low rates. Even a couple of high altitude hovers. I did a few low passes to feel out the setup for landing. about 8 and half min on the flight I brought it in for a landing. It settled in and came to a stop. My buddy looked over and made the comment that I shouldn't show off on a maiden. The landing was a 3 point without a single bounce.

Here are a couple of photos. The first was one of the low passes, the second was after the maiden.

Great to hear that everything went well. I think it is the best feeling in the world when a maiden goes well. Best wishes on many flights to come.
Oh by the way, that is on sexy plane .
