I'm glad you like your plane. I love mine. It's won me contests up through intermediate. It's pretty sweet with a DA-100... mine is turning a Bolly 27x10 at 6,400-6,500 RPM on stock exhaust and it makes the plane fly pretty well... I can do upline snaps and keep going. I might have to try a single rudder servo and see how I like it... I've been using 2 5955s on the rudder. What does your weigh in at?

Sleepy, are you replacing that motor or are you keeping it? inquiring minds need to know.

I am moving on to 100cc power plant.
The 95cc motor was enough to fly the plane pretty nicely.. and the motor is like new (2 gallons) but it wasn't enough to rattle m Balls.... so its getting pulled. I'll say this... a 33% plane with that motor.... FOGETABOUT IT. all those 33% YAKS would be balistic with that motor. Its VERY smooth for a single as well... and pulls like a truck... My Panzl weighs in the neighborhood of 27 lbs... and it was pulling it well enough to do a snap on a vertical line and continue skyward... but it lost steam at around 2 snaps...(vertical) It hovered the plane as well but it was a sluggish pull out. Like I said.. the motor is not even broken in, so it will get better.. and a good 22 - 23lb plane would be sick with this guy. PS: anyone need a good 95cc motor? 2 gallons... with muffler! Motor and muffler and ign weigh 6.6 lbs was spinning a menz 26 - 10 at just under 6000 and its not even broken in! PM me.. I'll make ya a deal! Would be PERFECT for a 33% plane. PERFECT!!

Well.. I think my Panzie just got some
BALLS!! 100cc's of double piston slappin power! Errrrrr Errrrrrrr ERRRRRr more power!!! A 3W 100i B2 with only 3 gallons thru it... got it at a price I just couldn't say no to. The installation seems like it went well, except 2 things I'll probably fix over the winter... 1) I had to use 1/4 inch spacers and a few fender washers to get the clearance I needed for the mufflers to clear the fire wall.... this put my spinner 1/2" out in front of the cowl... not horrible.. but it's just one of those things thats going to bother me... until I can cut the fire wall and make it nice nice. 2) Since I had that big single in there... I had cut a big hole into the bottom of the cowl... and its still there.... probably GREAT for motor cooling... crappy for appearance. Oh well, the fix for that is just a phone call and some $$$$ away... (not anytime soon mind you I'm going to be short on the $$$$ for some time after this motor purchase.) Oh well... hopefully next weekend I'll get to see what this new motor will do! Can't wait! Popple get ready... I'm commin down!! (if the stupid OHIO weather doesn't SUCK!)

Throw some baffles in there if you get time. Its real easy in the Panzl with that flat front end. I built my baffles for my Panzl at Jeeum's field in NC with some CA and some 1/8 balsa. Very little cutting and fitting to do to get them to fit flush in the front of the cowl.
