Whats a ballpark figure (if you don't mind me asking) for Tony to put the work in on one of his planes.
I mean if the kit is like $1050, am I close in thinking like $2500+ to have one RTF? Like I said I'm just trying to get a grip on it, I'm not asking you for specific figures. Thanks.

Man, I want one of those toothpick planes way bay! Just one thing. Why are they all covered the same? I bought an Edge that was pretty old, and thats what it looked like. Im not saying that the scheme is tottaly ugly...but ugly. But ugly or not, I bet that thing is the best flying plane any of us has ever been lucky enough to fly. Until I saw his new website, and the pics of the planes lined up, I thought they all were like that! Even if it were pink with ferries, a gay rainbow, and a poo poo scratch and sniff sticker on the back, I still would LOVE to have one!

To me, completely worth it. I dont have the patience or desire to finish one like he can. When I get it from him, all I have to do is drop my stuff in it. As for the scheme, I like simple schemes. I saw Tony's covered like this at the Shootout and it looked great. The other reason I went with it was because I couldnt come up with something better myself. Heres what it will look like all painted up. The only thing I changed was the angle of the blue towards the root of the wings. Steve, No back up. Hopefully I dont need it.

The cost for a ARF airframe is 3295.00. This includes covering ,paint, baffleing, and engine and exhaust instalation.

That seems reasonable.
I'm pluggin away at my stupid 33% GP extra 330... and I can see how the time, skill and materials (glue, blades, blood.... etc) really adds up, throw into the mix the fact that your a MASTER crafstman and it all comes together. Understanding what it takes to build a straight and true plane thats light and strong... I suprised you don't charge more. Well for now my goal is to still to build Tony's35% plane (perhaps this summer.) I just can't even think of a way to Haul a 40+ % plane around that wouldn't get me a big fat Divorce!
