Default good prop size for gms 76 2s on a hobbico su 31 sukhio

i have a gms 76 with a bisson pitts muff on a hobbico su 31 and was wondering if the nylon 12-6 apc prop is to small for it.
after break in i proceeded to see what kind of rpms it would produce.
with a rather rich mixture it produced 11,300 rpms on 15% omega nitro.

am i in the ballpark with all these figures.the motor ran and has run flawlessly on the bench and in the airframe so far, didnt maiden it yet so i want to be sure.

thnx

Hey MV! I'm running the Tower .75 which is, I think, the same motor. After a rich break-in, I'm now running a 13/4 APC. I'm hovering at 1/8th throttle on my Funtana40. Since I'm not flying the motor at full power for extended periods, I don't have an overheating problem. I'm running the motor rich as it is now though.(not at peak RPM) using a Bisson pitts style muffler.

hope this helps!

I had great luck with a APC 13x6. I tried all kinds of props on mine, even an APC 16x4...it kinda worked.
