hey man, if look to 3D flying ; it's the best choice!
you can do nice hovering, harrier, torq roll...... and all maneuver. and if do some setting like flaperon or (and) spoileron you will do alot of maneuver very easy like harrier , wall, bleder, barachout, elevator, tight roll and rolling harrier

(Here too)
Hello Hady.... I recently built a 42% Ultimate from World models.... HORRIBLE ARF to assemble!!!! It does actually all go together... but the fit is not terribly good.... Actually... the only good things about the plane are that it looks cool... and flies really well... (At least the 42% I had).... My plane was a little to heavy for a DA150... Flies very lightly on the wing though.. actually floaty on the wing... but a bit slow scratching out of a hover or TR... at least at my temperature and altitude.. http://media.putfile.com/flight-numb...ing-acquainted |

mithrandir do you think that the plane is havy duty ? due to its low quality structure and material ?
the design is really great yes |

I would characterize the covering as barely adequate....
The structure is mostly OK... 'cept all of the alignment pins in the tails and wings will require maintainance... Put brass tubing over the stab pins, open the hole in the fuse slightly and wick in a little CA into the hole to harden the edges... I also had trouble with the tubes in the stab and fuselage oval'ing from vibration... I fixed it.. but a pain in the neck... None of the alignment holes in the fuselage fit the lower wings, the cabanes were fabricated by a 6 year old girl with a pair of pliers... On the 42%... they did reinforce the main gear plate with fibre-glass... and you MUST do what I did in the picture.. or the Cabanes will compress and crunch the top fuselage sheeting!!! But... it was a lot of fun to fly....... The structure overall was actually pretty tough... strong plane with the flying wires.. (Wires are NECESSARY!!!) Another thought... QQ is gonna have a Python for the 100 cc soon.... Bottom line here.... the Ultimate was a fun plane to fly, and had some nice qualities... but I am extremely short on time... and the extra effort is not woth the trouble to me... All my buddies say the 102" QQ Yak is THE *****..... (for a 100 anyway) |

Did you tell world models about what you found so they can fix it? They are very willing to fix any issues with the plane.

I am willing to wager lunch that when AeroWerks used WM as a Builder/Supplier... there were numerous emails exchanged between AW and WM discussing the "Problems"... and as we can all see... AW no longer uses WM as a supplier......
This is of course speculation on my part... (Shame on me!!!)... but seems pretty obvious. The problems I have found are a result of inadequate assembly techniques, inadequate tooling, and a bit of design immaturity.... the wheels are in motion for how this thing is built... and I can't imagine they are interested in changing how things are done at this point..... I will vouch for how much fun it is to fly!!!! But a nightmare to build.... Too bad too... cuz it would not be hard to make this thing like 3 or 4 pounds lighter... then it would be a real Whiz-Bang-Throw-Down 3D machine with a DA150!!!! Then I would buy another one myself!!! |

I own one of the 33%. The wood quality is not the best but not too bad. Is not a bad ARF for the price you are paying for it. Great for 3D stuff. I have a DA100 on mine. You need a heavy engine to get this thing to balance right.

I originally had a ZDZ 80 single in it. But after adding about a pound and a half of lead on the cowl and still not balancing. I gave up and installed the DA100. I like useable nose weight
