Copied from a Run Ryder thread,
Mere speculation ... none of the Futaba reps know anything about this and neither do their support folks in the US. Haven't seen anything other than comments by Gregory on these forums. It's logical to assume that such a radio will exist, but to this date it's nothing more than vaporware. If it does exist, Futaba is keeping a tight lid on the information (which probably makes sense since they wouldn't want potential 14MZ buyers from waiting to get a lower-priced model). |

If that's true, it's getting a little closer to what I'd spend for a high end radio, even though I don't use all of the functions on my 9C yet.
I would like to have the ability to mix multiple servos on all surfaces, instead of using a programmer. |

I wish they would cancel the 9C and amp up the 9Z and make a very hot radio for about a Grand.

The 9C is definitely Futaba's biggest bang for the buck.
To me it makes more sense to ramp up the 9C and do away with the Z.

I love my Z, unbelivable flexability. But, it's a real PITA everytime I have to learn something new with it. I would love the ease of programming of the 14mz, combined with the flexability of the 9Z. The C is an awesome radio without a doubt. I agree, probably one of the best deals on the market. I just can't afford the 14mz.

My ONLY complaint with my 9C is that it doesnt offer the flight conditions like the 9z does

Thats ok too, but the small black and white screen is dated a little. Thats why I said zoom up the Z.

A lot of good points, I thind Futaba should read this thread
![]() I've never owned the Z, but I have played around with the 14, that's why I'd be interested in a 12 if they come out with one. But in reality, if the 12 will be going for around 1500.00, I'd just pay the extra for the 14. |

Being $600 + difference between the 12/14 , thats a healthy difference, IF in fact there is a 12.I may..........MAY... pay $1500 for a 12, but $2200 for a 14..cant justify that.

Jim,
Go look in Europe under the name Futaba uses over there. It exists all right but the price is basically the same as a 14MZ. There is a thread with a link to it here already. I'm off flying so you have to look for it. Trust Banks is crook as a juk yard dog this morning. Kiwi |
