Another project John is working on right now is building my 40% Aerotech Yak. He's going to finish this big bird in the new Red Bull scheme---it's going to be awsome. A 3W-157 CS will power this beast!! I can't wait to get it!!

There were some lightening holes put in them. The wings would have been perfect if I was going to be doing IMAC type flying with it but I'm not. Its going to be a 3D only plane and the wings wouldnt have held together with the type of maneuvers I like to do.

The fuse is built totally rock solid. This plane is just unbelievable on how well it has been built. Your buddy missed out in not buying it.

What did it weigh? I just bought a 40% Carden Cap that was built by Tony Russo not too long ago. The weight was underestimated by the original owner so I was a bit concerned after I put it on the scale. That all went away when I flew it, though.

dont remember the weight exactly , but after figuring the weights of the compoents and engine we thought it would hit 41#s. I thought the guy overbuilt it a bit, but it will take any abuse I'm sure. The Cap in my Avatar is the 35% and it weighs 30#s wet. Its a 3D flying fool in the right hands.

I'm not sure of the weight just yet. I'll weigh everything once we get everything together. Probably somewhere around 40-42lbs. The Cardens fly really well at these weights. I cant wait to get mine up. The Cap Harriers really well. Rock solid. I love to see a cap harrier. Its my favorite maneuver.

We are going to do a little modification to the wings. We are going to make the aileron a little longer. Going to extend it to the fuse about 3 inches more.

Thats a good idea. I extended mine 7" from the stock postion after mine was finished because I could not stop the plane from tourqe rolling. They are only 1" from the fuse.
