Foam Season is here!

Just a few weeks ago, the 2012 JR Fest ushered in the 2012/13 indoor flying season. Yes, unfortunately for many of us here in the US, the warm breezes and afternoon sunshine has turned into gray skies accompanied by freezing winds and driving rain. Then usually without warning, the rain turns into sleet and then finally snow rendering outdoor flying season over. As a bunch of dedicated RC nuts, when this weather hits, we head into whatever indoor facility can accommodate a bunch of guys and their flying toys! Yep it's indoor season!

Check your flying buddies on facebook, many are posting pictures of new foamie designs, or new BNF planes they have acquired. Foam safe CA is dripping, and homemade milling machines are cutting away a few precious grams off of some of the newest and craziest foamie designs I have ever seen!

So if you reside in a place where you can look out your window and see gray skies, and won't be seeing the flying field for several months, let's see what you are working on!

Personally, I have become addicted to multirotor AV platforms. I am going to have a ball flying and filming some indoor action at my local indoor flying spot. I am really looking forward to indoor season this year!

So let the FG family see what you're working on. Let's see pictures of your latest creation, your newest design or your most recent arf/BNF kit bash. All you insane airbrushing masters, why not share your latest foamie masterpiece!

DO IT!
