Ok let me know the clearance under the tube.

I have 2 super ZDZ-80 RVJ and one is running Mejzlik 26x10 at 6800-6900 RPM on KS-95 can with 24 lbs plane. Put the same prop on tuned pipe set-up and you'll have more power than DA-100 with pitt mufflers.

i will measure below the tube for u scoub.
BME-115. Screaming power, and 2 pounds lighter. Win. .Win. . WIN over the 3W 106. My 300Lx 2.6m is the same basic airframe, and even choked down with M canistes the engine just blew the airframe away at 26 lbs (old style plane with blade spars instead of tube). If you are not noise limited, the Standard mufflers will take some more weight off. I encountered no problems getting the Cg correct.

I have a comp-arf 2.6, In it I have had the BME110 and the BME115. Mine comes in at an honest 22.5lbs. It is white with very little vinyl.
It is the same one in my avitar.

It has the blade spars. I am quite pleased with the overall performance at that weight
Do you have your 115 yet Kris??

Ch!ef, I would probably use what ever engine I could find through a local dealer. I though there was a BME dealer over in your neck of the woods.

Scoub i have meassured the distance between the fuse and wingtube and it is around 85mm or 3and1/4 inch but the gear mount is just in front of the tube wich would give you problems if you are going aft of the tube

That could be a problem, if you go with a big single and canister or pipe set up...
Thanks

I'm getting one of these in the next shipment. It will be my first composite Arf. Please post some pictures of how you set up the rudder tray and tank mount.

At the present moment I would e-mail Keith at BMEENGINE@aol.com or check his web site for his distributor in Germany

Hey Chief,

I have a 50cc areoworks yak and I'm looking to step up to my first 2.6 comp arf but I'm torned between this new patty 300sx or the new 260 2.6 that comp arf will introduced in the next couple of months. Your plane is absolutly beautiful but I really don't know if to pull the trigger on this plane or not. I was told that the 260 flys better but considering my limited flying abilities I probably won't be able to tell the difference. What made you decide to go with this plane? have you ever owned a comp arf? Any sugestions to help me decide?
