Super Decathlon 100cc ARF by Hangar 9

Hangar 9 is at it again. Changing countless Christmas lists a few days before the big day!
Today Hangar 9 has dropped a doozie!

Super Decathlon 100cc ARF by Hangar 9

New today from Hangar 9®, the Super Decathlon 100cc ARF! Designed by Mike McConville, this plane is an accurate Giant-Scale representation of the classic general aviation and sport aerobatic, measuring in at an impressive 139-inch wingspan. It easily accepts most popular 80–120cc gas engines. Plug-in wings struts make transportation and field assembly a snap. Along with its factory-painted fiberglass cowl and wheel pants, the model features a scale cockpit with a functional door and window. The cabin top can be removed for easy access. All servos all hidden from view to preserve scale looks. And it has an eye-catching UltraCote® trim scheme that anyone would be proud to own and fly.

Overview
The American Champion Super Decathlon aircraft is a two-seat, fixed conventional gear, light airplane designed for flight training and personal use and is capable of sustaining aerobatic stresses of +6g and -5g. First produced in 1972 and reintroduced in 1990, the Super Decathlon plane has a range of 564 miles and can climb at a rate of 1,280 ft/min with its Lycoming IO-320 engine.
