General Don Lowe Masters Info
Hi Guys, I've got a few questions about the Masters this year. What are the flying hours for the event? Also what will be the spectator fee? Does anyone know when the semifinal/final rounds will be flown? Thanks for any help.

I'll give this a shot, but Biff would know more.
What are the flying hours for the event? 8am til were done in the evening. Also what will be the spectator fee? I don't think there is one. Does anyone know when the semifinal/final rounds will be flown? Finals is Saturday Jason Oh yea, is someone gonna start a "Masters Daily Thread"? If so, I've got some info. |

Spectator fee is $5.00 per day, per person. After Thrusday night field will be cut down to 14. Saturday the top 7 will complete for the win. Hope all have a safe trip to Tripple Tree.

I just got here from Ontario and checked in my motel..be off to the field tomorrow

How does one end up participating in such an great event, Is it invitational or do you just sign up somewhere..

Flypilot.
Its purely invitational and normally based on placings in the major USA and international competitions. However I know the CAF guys who run this event are always on the look out for additional new blood so if you are cleaning up in the national events etc then I would contact the likes of Bob Sadler to drop him your CV and standings. You pretty much need to compete in a few international events to get your name up in lights but Europe is for sure very much into IMAC with a ton of competitions and international events unlike most of us where it entails airfreight and passports to get around.
