BIG CHANGE -----

This is different from the standard 24T Hitec spline.

The 3/32" hex head socket for the arm screw is a nice improvement. I hated both the 1.5 mm sockets and the phillips head. Hopefully the circuitry is better than the G2!

Interesting...non-programmable but fast and powerful... I would give em a try on my next project or replace a 7950 with the 8380 now to see and feel the difference. They're all the same price even though the torque and speed is different. Wonder if it still is G2 circuitry?

6 new brushless servos are due shortly
" They are standard sized in two different models with three levels in each. There will be an ultra low power consumption version with a standard case and steel gears which will retail for around $115. The highest torque version is 361in/oz. The other version which still draws less than half of our current high end servos will come with a heat-sink case and Titanium gears with the highest toque version putting out a whopping 539in/oz of torque. curious..... wonder if they just realized alot of guys switched out to servos that were 25t and paid the money for good arms. now hitec has its newest and guys dont buy em cause they are buying 60-100 bucks extra in new arms. i could see that being a deciding factor for me. damn things should all be standard anyhow.

that's a damn good idea ....

interesting that servo city is only listing them as 90 degree travel.

most others are shown with a full 180 degrees of travel.
It might just be to show the speed spec for 45 degrees each way like they do some other servo's, but they in fact do go a full 90 each way.

No, these are non programmable.

They are an addition to the line.

They also have flat wires which is more user friendly in Heli's and Cars.

anyone who gives these jokers yet another chance after all of the servo issues they've had is nuts. But, money talks and folks on the cheap will give em a try....just wish they wouldn't come and gripe on the forums when they are dealing with defective products yet again if these new servos still have issues.....

Hitec have provided 25T on some servo already, please refer to:

A 25 tooth spline allows for easier placement of output arm at 90degrees without need
of sub trims.
