A very good friend and mentor of mine is working on a garage built project that I think deserves some credit. Brent Evans in South-side Va. is constructing from scratch a 66% Cub. The plans started as a Bob Nelletts(sorry if misspelled) 33% and were doubled in size. All parts are hand fabricated for this build. Some general specs are: 23'+ wing span, 100+lbs. JPX 325 cc engine. Welded aluminum fuselage. More info and pictures as they come available.

Don't know about the record part. We are in the Martinsville area. Currently working on the wheels. Looks like 11" tires on a machined hub. I will try to keep everyone updated.

What servos would be strong enough for this size of plane?

Industrial servo motors run off 12v gel cells. Only departure from true scale will the inclusion of flaps on a non clipped wing. Oh well
