A 40% extra for G-3 ?

Hey eveyone,
I just got G-3. I don't know much about altering the planes yet. I've tried to alter the planes to make them larger. But I end up with a big FLOATY plane.

Does anyone have a good 40% extra that will work with add-on 1 or 3?.

short bus uploaded a 42% Dalton 260 a while back - dont need an add-on just needs the latest version of realflight - like .488 or something like that

shaun, definately check out knifeedge.com.....There is a new upgrade for G3 coming out sometime in late october that will be a FREE DOWNLOAD for all current G3 users!!
read up on it, its going to be killer....counter-rotating heads for helis, night flying with glow lights, a bunch of new flying fields, huge upgrade in graphics, better collision simulation, more realistic ground handleing, and a hole crap load of other neat stuff. check it out!

Perspective:

it will be an update much like all the other updates.

no glow wire. I think they did something in the KEX file..(not sure though) You can't add glow wire to any plane or heli.

runs a little better on a slow comp

colisions are possible

good ground handling

plenty more!

Well Duh!
I share this with ya'll if you don't make fun of me to much. I wasn't putting the downloaded planes in the G3x folder. LOL........

I would download them . Unzip them. But they just wouldn't work. What a idiot. I guess that's what I get for not reading the directions. I just got through flying the RC bipe and the twin evil or what even it's called . I loved the bipe.

I tried electrics about a year ago. I built a foamy bipe with a axi 2212/34. I just didn't like it so I sold everything and went back to gas. If I could get one to fly like the RC bipe I would try again?

Flight physics are also very different.

You can change the position/intensity of the sun on certain fields.

Glow wire can be added to any plane if you have the .3ds file.

New hover trainer, where you can select what you would like to control IE: Throttle and elevator, only elevator (trainer for helis and planes)

New Heli trainer "follow the leader" type thing.

on photo fields instead of just grass that looks like its from a picture, there is actual grass sticking out of the ground that moves!


I also noticed that using smoke no longer lags my computer.
