I would vote for the Wildhare Suk. As soon as I finish up my custom 35% Suk....I plan on buying one as a backup. The scale hinging on it looks awesome.

Yep, heard of them? The apparently have awesome quality compared to a comp arf, on par with 3W airplanes. Should know today on it. I thought of the WH Sukhoi, one wasnt available, but think I will be happy with my choice as it will be unique and probably will not see another one flying in my area.

I think like any plane how it is finished and equipped will affect the weight. One that was built with smoke, powerbox, 3w 106 w/stock mufflers, dual 4800 fromecos was weighed at 26lbs. With my setup I will be about 2.5lbs lighter than that (BME 115 with carbon tuned pipes, single 4800, no powerbox or smoke), so will be in the ballpark at what I am looking for. I have seen the videos, it looks like it is more than capable of great 3D too, but I also like the idea that it has a thin wing and flys fast. 3D in this video looks pretty good to me.

I saw a 35% Krill at Triple Tree last year . .in the bones. . Pretty plane, but being a Katana the wing looked a bit low for a pipe installation.

I got some dimensions on the Krill, the pipes will fit in there no prob. Just got off the phone with the Krill rep and should have it early next week.

Raz - please I am only talking about the pinacle - the plane is more than cabable to do most its just that some interesting negative feedback is filtering through - things like the wing profile is to thin and that it effects slow flight stability - also tracking issues etc - this is mostly from german/swiss and Italian forums etc - but as you well know talk is cheap and I still believe its one of the very best birds now!!! and at the right weight............................................

I hear ya. I like the thin wing, the way I fly, I like to fly fast paced, so the thin wing will cater to my flying style, and sure it will 3D just fine for me. I almost did the Xtreme 2.6 Edge, but this one won out.

Let us all know how those pipes work out. I have never been a pipe or can man, but if those work well I might have to try them. Purdy too!
