Well, I got a little sleep last night. Had to make my rounds to get a van, plane, movie and a bed and everything went well. Woke up this morning about 7:45, unpacked my plane parts and the few clothes I had, put the plane on charge and am about to go have breakfast and go fly. Here's the beautiful Tucson weather shot. It's about 60 degrees and wind about 10kts.

Since my first report got deleted (operator error) this one will be short. 20+kt winds but no rain. Bill test flew his WH 260 and is making a couple adjustments and will fly again tomorrow. Steve, Tony and Jean-Claude were out there also practicing for the Shootout. Here's some pics. Off for another movie. Til later....

Lot's of flying goin on (for the 2nd day) today at the TRCC field. Hempel, Shulman, Dan Alley, Tony Watkins, Steve Clark, Brad Hooper, Jean-Claude, and Even Jason Krause joined in with a little Helli-Huckin as well. Temps were cooler today, but the winds seemed pretty steady and 10-20mph.

Hey Gang,

Can't actually believe that I'm going to TAS. Leave tomorrow afternoon, fly in to Vegas (never been) hang out there for a day, my buddy has booked some time in a full scale Pitts. Then off to Phoenix/Tucson. Should arrive sometime Thursday I figure.

Looking forward to watching the flying and meeting some of you folks. I'll be the crazy Canuk with the wide-eyes!! If I look lost, please point me in the right direction.

Cheers,
Dave

I'd be happy too, Tucson airport I presume. PM me with some details, unless you get a better offer!

Cheers,

In Phoenix Dean Bird, Ivan Kristensen, and I had a great day of practice. Winds were 5-10 constantly changing direction. Yesterday we had strong winds which is always good for tucson practice.
