Not that I am aware of. I am sure they will have many guest flyers over the coming days. You may just want to check with some of the locals who may be at the field when you arrive, before flying.
Regards, Anna

Well, the weekend is over. Frazer and Bernd were in/are in town, Martin and Andrew are here and there are more coming. Tony actually caught cleaning his plane and my planewrappers cover. Also today Bill and I had a bit of fun to break up all the practice we've been doing. Here he let me fly his new Big Edge (http://www.billhempel.com/newedge.htm) Til later...

Bogan here on Alan's login ....
yes things were going great and the thing was on rails ! roaring along at base height, reach over to give it one more click of up trim .... oh ****, that was not the trim button ...... fumbling for the on switch, 260 went smot just as the TX beeped back on. It seems that bad luck somes in threes, my 3rd 260 in 6 months ...... you gotta love being a modeller. The moon crew raced over to the crash site, the whole thing was on fire, 6 foot flames, completely toasted. I've never seen anything like it. Only thing left is the tail wheel bracket, and one servo. We rang DA and explained we are having a bit of an over heating issue up here in Phoenix. So after the BBQ, the team sat down, had a quiet beer, and then set to work on the spannering the trusty old PBG 260 together. We test flew it as the sun went down, we are back in business ! Bogan |

Yes, it was a sad sight to watch the 260 auger into the desert. The fireball on impact was pretty big. Luckily it hit a wide open spot of dirt as it burned up completely. The smell of burning plastic is still in my clothes, from the trip home with the wreckage in the back of our pick-up. It is a sad site to see in our trash can out in the yard.... :-(
