Default THE BEST 50cc yak

i really want a 50cc yak, but i dont know which one is the best. I'm pretty sure a lot would say somenzini, but there are so many on the market now'a days. I dont think i can afford a pricey plane, so one that may not be AS good, but a lot less money, if its jus 50 bucks less, might as well go with the somenzini or something.

Which YAK!!!

I really like the Aviation Models Yak. Super Quality, Super People. Plenty of schemes to choose. Good luck in your decision.

I own and fly an Aviation Models Yak and I've watched an Extreme Flight Yak at our field. Both are great in quality as well as flying characteristics. Good luck

I'm a Aviation Yak fan, but I think the QQ Yak or the Aviation Yak would both be excellent choices.
Remember, buy what "YOU" want, it's your money and after it's spent on what ever you decide it's yours and you have to live with it. So don't let anyone talk you into a plane you really didn't want.

Bottom line I don't think you could find two better planes or company's to deal with, I just liked the personal touch Sammy seems to have with his customers.......G/L

lol, im stuck on the two.. these where the ones i was lookin at .. hehehe, but maybe when i finally sell my giles to get the money for theses planes, i would have made up my mind. I think i am leaning on the TOC yak right now, just because of so many people like their product, and i have yet to hear anything bad about them.

The AM models yak flies really good for a 50cc but for a few hundred more you could get that new 80 and the 33% bang for buck wise you cant beat that combo.

make price the deciding factor...if you can swing a QQ, then go for it...or are they about the same price now? If they are the same price, the QQ is the winner, without question!

thats what im doing with a different plane. most if not all 50 cc planes on the market today are killer so i picked a plane that had a nice scheme and was fairly cheap. i know it will fly great too

toc 30% yak or aviation models(same thing)

I think other than the EF bla bla bla it is the best.

no kidding, never flown the quiqui but I dont know how you could get better than the ef, its a little bigger but my da gives it great virticle and on break in I hover 3 clicks under half throttle, I checked monday and that is, 3 CLICKS UNDER HALF THROTTLE, with no throttle mix that is,

of course that doesnt mean it was under the half way point of the power curve but it shoots out of the hover pretty quickly,

I havent flown in six months, only on the sim since christmass, went to fly my yak christmass day and a week later I am TR'ing 5 feet off the ground, it is an awsome plain,

you cant understand how axial the rolles are untill you fly, like a real long slow role requires almost no rudder input and like no elevator.

It is amazing!

Look at all of them and find the most wing area at the least weight and you will find the best plane. The 87" that at 16-17 lbs will be perfect! If you find the 85"-81" that are 13-15 pounds they will be O.K. and heavier than that don't even look. Hope the weights are true!

I have built for review, the old TOC 50cc, EF 50cc and the BME 50cc Yak, the TOC I would not publish, the other 2 I have. In fairness to Sammy, they have made the major changes to compete in the US market! Getting rid of Matt and moving Garett into development was a winning change. Garett understands how to make a sucessful plane!!

Just my thoughts,

Kitman

QQ Yak and Aeroworks Yak QB are the ones I would suggest. I saw the Aeroworks at the AMA show and it was awesome and if building time is important to you then Aeroworks QB. QQ seems to be more time consuming to build and a little more expensive but I wouldn't doubt its flying characteristic. The Aeroworks looks better in my oppinion.
