Hey dude,
I have just now signed in to this forum. I heard from a source that Chip was bringing the Ultimate out of retirement! Should make it interesting. I wish I could be there to watch it. It seems as though the level all these guys are flying at has improved greatly in the past couple of years. I'm sure the young guns have put the pressure on. I hope everyone has a great contest. |

I guess you didnt hear but there is no shootout this year. Also chips ultimate was burned in a house fire a few months ago.

Yeah..Chips Ultimate, and all his gear, and most of his trophies. All from charging lipos in the plane while taking a shower. Just about cried when I saw the video of him (Chip) describing the incident.
Needless to say, I don't charge lipos unatended anymore. Rishelman |

If I remember it was a Power supply that failed and had nothing to do with the chemistry of the battery. I could be wrong though
