Well, stupid me, I drilled some Menz S in the wrong place, so now they won't line up w/ the spinner.
How about gluing 6 wood dowels to plug the holes and redrilling in the correct location? What do you think of the structural integrity of the prop after the repair? Thanks, Eric |

Eric,
Please don't use it. Just trash it and and get another. There won't be enough wood left in the hub to make it safe. I know it's been done, but I don't believe it's worth it. Dan |

I don't think the savings is worth the safety risk. Please don't do it-for your sake and for the sake of others around you.

Don't even think about it...What you might be able to do is find somebody that needs the prop where it doesn't matter about the hole location. I use a ZDZ-80 and I can make the prop work no matter where the holes are drilled, maybe somebody can use yours, sell it and get a new one
It sounds like you are using a fiberglass or CF spinner, I use a Tru-Turn with a center bolt, that's the reason bolt location isn't as important to me. |

Things like this make great 'wall displays'....... but why risk X amount of dollars for a $35 prop. Sounds pennywise and dollar foolish.

Save the prop and you can use it as is, for other applications without a spinner,

saw it in half and you have two paint stirrers or two odd looking drum sticks.
