My dad decided to buy a 6X10 trailer, but now we need to decide on the color..... I would rather not have a black one because of the heat it absorbs etc.... I really want the Red, but then i like how simple the white is so help us out..
Thanks

I have plans to pick up a trailer and I am leaning towards the silver/pewter color myelf. You want something that doesn't get hot and will go with any color vehicle too.

Now on the inside I'm thinking white. I know it's going to be dark enough. So on the inside roofand sides I'm going to paint it glossy white. The floor I'm thinking 1' squares of black and white. Shaun |

Thanks for your reply's guys! keep em' comming. I would like to have a white or red. Just because my dad will be driving different cars once in a while, and the color of the cars would be black, white, or silver, so i want the trailer color to go with those color cars....

Tony,
What's up buddy? White looks nice. Then you can put all those fancy decals on it and they show up well. Take Care

I have a black 6x10 trailer and Love lt!! Yes, Black absorbs more heat, but when it's hot...whats a few more degrees?!? The covering wrinkles on my buddies airplanes in a white trailer also.
I installed a solar powered roof vent which does help keep the interior temps down. Another thing to keep in mind, are you sure you want to put decals and stickers on a trailer to advertize whats inside? Maybe just a simple "Medical Waste" decal?

Tony, I just went through the same thing. I initially wanted a white trailer and my wife told me I could get any color I want as long as it was black. When we got the the dealer she liked the Grey/pewter color. Black has a tendancy to fade and wash out over the years look at some 5-10 year old black trailers and you'll see what I mean. White starts to look dirty especially if they do not use stainless screws you will get some rust staining from the screws. I liked the black and crome look they both compliment each other very well. But now that I have the pewter color I like it alot. Good luck
Bryan PS. I am with Larry (propstriker) don't advertise what is inside.

I would love to put some rc graphics on my trailer. However I just think I would be asking for trouble.

Most people around here think I'm hauling a full scale plane in it.
The easy way to clean the trailer is with soft scrub it is amazing how easy it is to clean using it

I have a black trailer, and although it looks nice, it does get real hot inside. I usually have the roof vent open, and I still end up opening at least the back doors during the day when I am home.....
White is a pain to keep clean.....If I sell mine which I plan too, I am going with Silver/Pewter. That color goes with everything and looks real nice and is great for decals too!

I think you are over looking the most obvious color choice.....PINK!!! No self respecting thief would think there is anything valuable in it except maybe some cosmetics. And who would care about cleaning off rust stains and such......it would be ***** to begin with.:homo:
