Default 2006 TAS Vendor Question

Just got back from the TAS......Man what a show! The flying was awesome and so were the people. I am looking for the name of company that was offering the 42% Extra 260 ARF that was in front of the black trailer in the vendor area. It's not aero-works. Any help would be appreciated.

Dietrich motorsports........Plane won't be avail until Feb at the soonest.

Price was 1195 at the TAS, but now its 1595.

Contact Cactus Aviation for his phone number if you can't find it. Bobby knows him pretty well from back in the day.

Yep. It's funny that he is offering a 39% 300L that bares a striking resemblence to the old Aeroworks TOC-winning design...cowl's different, though.
Word I got is the planes at the field are the only ones in existence - no idea where he is going to have them manufactured, no instructions drawn, etc. I would say this time next year if you are lucky, then again, if that 260 is now $1595, you might as well go with the Aeroworks 260. It comes with CF wing and stab tubes, as well as the tube slots in the fuse, and it is a QB and, from the info my friend got about the Dietrich plane, his plane will be about 2-3 pounds heavier that the Aeroworks.

There were alot of differences on the inside of the plane. I took a good look at it.....

You could say the same thing about all 3 of these...

old aeroworks
Columbo anderson
Dietrich

They all have similarites....especially in fuse shape.

Bodywerks you are correct, these are the prototype models. He did say they are already built and on the way as of Feb...waiting on the boat from China (like every other ARF out there). He even said they had an ARC but the price was about the same, just like everyone else.

As for price vs pound etc.....its competitive on the poundage and cheaper than the aeroworks...

But the aeroworks gives you more stuff and is QB........

I wouldn't throw this plane outta of your choices
