Build Log
B-25 J 202.75" 1/4 scale by Charles Loud
Thursday I received a kit that has been a year in the making! A 1/4 scale B-25 J. It was designed by Charles Loud http://www.bylouddesign.com/index.html. I will post all specs at a later date but for now I was just to excited to start this project.
I got to my house with it at 3:00 on Thursday afternoon and started opening the boxes. HOLLY CRAP there are a lot of parts! Trying to inventory all of this without a parts list is next to impossible. I decided to just start building! ![]() Unfortunately there is a couple missing pieces. I moved on to the next smallest piece of the plane, the fuselage. At 158.75" it is not as small as you would think! Since Thursday at 3:00 I have spent 23 hours sorting the 800 plus parts and starting to assemble the plane. Tomorrow I think I will spend some time with my very understanding better half! I hope everyone enjoys this thread as much as I will enjoy building the plane. B-25 J Specs Designer: Charles Loud http://www.bylouddesign.com/index.html Aircraft: B-25 J Tail Number 486777 at 1/4 scale Wingspan: 202.75 Fuselage: 158.75 Power: Hacker 200A x2 ESC: Radio System: Futaba 18mz with s-bus I will add more as I get them . |

I thought mine was big!! I'm building the Howard 500 on RCSCALEBUILDER.COM. also designed by Charles Loud. One thing you will find out building something that Charlie designed, is when you hit a snag he's only an email or phone call away!! The other thing I've discovered is that it assembles like a jigsaw puzzle- if it doesn't have a perfect fit then it's in the wrong place!!
